Terms and Conditions

Reservations and Payments

To confirm a reservation with Tikariy Machu Picchu, a deposit of $200 is required as an advance payment toward the total cost of the tour.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 10 days before the start date of the tour.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or another method previously agreed upon.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made more than 15 days before the tour start date will receive a 50% refund of the amount paid.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days in advance.

Non-Refundable Third-Party Purchases

Once the reservation is confirmed, any purchase made on behalf of the client for third-party services —such as Machu Picchu entrance tickets, train tickets, among others— will be non-refundable.
These costs cannot be reimbursed in case of cancellation, as they are subject to each provider’s own policies.

If Tikariy Machu Picchu is forced to cancel the tour due to external causes (such as extreme weather conditions or road closures), the client will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund of the amount paid.

Itinerary Modifications

Tikariy Machu Picchu reserves the right to modify the tour itinerary for operational, safety, or force majeure reasons, such as weather changes, decisions from local authorities, or other factors beyond our control.

Client Responsibility

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are in adequate physical condition to participate in the booked tour or hike. A medical consultation is recommended if necessary.
The client must inform us in advance about any medical conditions, allergies, or special dietary requirements that could affect their participation.
They must also bring the appropriate gear, including clothing, footwear, and accessories suitable for hiking, unless otherwise specified in the tour package.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that our clients purchase travel insurance that covers accidents, cancellations, and even emergency evacuations.
Tikariy Machu Picchu is not liable for incidents that occur during tours or hikes.

Loss or Damage of Property

We are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings during the tour, hikes, or included transportation.

Client Conduct

The safety and well-being of the group are a priority. Tikariy Machu Picchu reserves the right to remove any client from the tour who causes disruptions, violates safety rules, or puts the group at risk.
